Is my device volume-limited?

Dario™ supports volume limited devices. However if you received an error message “Error: Please ensure that there are no volume limitations in the device settings”, please follow the instructions below to change the volume limitation settings on your device. Please change the settings one by one. You may check at any step if error message was resolved. For further assistance please contact Dario Support team.

What information can be captured with Dario™ software?

In addition to sugar levels, you can capture your food type and carbohydrate contents, insulin intake, physical activity, tag your meals, mood, and general state, and take notes.

Is my data on the cloud stored securely?

All personal data stored on the cloud complies with local and international privacy laws and regulations.

Can I use Dario to calculate my insulin dosage?

Yes, the Dario app includes an insulin calculator.

How do I turn on Dario™ test reminders?

Dario™ can be set to remind you to test 1.5, 2, or 2.5 hours past your last measurement. To set the reminder option select reminders on the app menu and tap the reminder time preferred.

Can I use any other devices with the Dario™ app?

The Dario™ app can be used without the meter, however the Dario&trade Smart Meter is the only true comprehensive Diabetes Management Solution that fully integrates with the app.

What happens if there's an incoming call in the middle of my test?

If you received an incoming call in the middle of testing your blood glucose level and haven't yet received the result on the screen, you should replace the Dario strip with a new one and perform the test again. It is recommended that you test in DO NOT DISTURB mode.

How can I change the language of the Dario™ app?

A default language is selected during the sign up process according to your region. However, you may change your language at any time in the Account setting screen.

Can a single log entry be deleted from the Dario™ app?

An entry can be deleted from the app. In the logbook list screen you slide the log entry to the right. Then you may select to edit an entry or delete it. Deleting an entry will permanently delete it.

I accidentally deleted my Dario™ application. Have I los all of my readings and records?

No. All your information is saved under your username even after deleting the application. You can re-install the Dario™ application or log into the MyDario website to view all your data and charts.

Can I share my results with my caregiver from the Dario™app?

Yes. In the upper right corner of your log or chart you will see the share button. Simply press the button and e-mail your log to whomever you'd like.

Is all the data from my app also available on the website?

Yes, all personal data is stored on the cloud and syncs to your personal account on the web portal. To view your data, just login with your own credentials.

Can I edit my data on the website?

Your personal account and diabetes profile can be edited on the website and on the app. Your logs can be edited only on the app and the web site can be used as a viewer.

Does Dario™ require batteries?

No, the Dario™ meter draws its power from your phone or tablet.

Does Dario™ require initial calibration?

No, the Dario™ is ready for use with no fuss. If you feel your device is reading incorrectly, please contact us.

How can I check the accuracy of my Dario™ meter?

The Dario™ smart meter complies with ISO 15197:2013's exacting accuracy requirements. If you feel your device is reading incorrectly, control solution is available. Please contact us.

What happens if I use test strips that have expired?

Using test strips that are expired can cause your results to be inaccurate. We recommend that any strips remaining from an open cartridge are discarded after 30 days. Throw them away and begin using a new cartridge of strips, checking the expiry date first.

Does Dario™ have a memory limit?

No. Because Dario™ uses your device's memory and secure cloud-based storage, an unlimited number of readings and pictures can be stored.

How can I get a Dario™?

Is the Dario™ Smart Meter compatible with my device?
